BIO

Joshua Cade

Perpetual project machine, anti-capitalist political philosopher, and author. I’m organizing systems based resistance to the cycles of theft and hoarding of labor’s earnings and representation.

Currently working on outlining capital’s role in reducing representation of We the People, forming a startup to reform representation, encouraging people to run for office, and organizing citizen lobbying in Austin, TX.

Capital Captures Everything (when it controls our elections)

Campaign Finance Reform | Long-form research | Writing

Capital is able to steal more capital from working-class people (domestically and abroad) by capturing US representation, rewriting legislation in their favor, and enforcing the rigged laws with police and military violence.

Globally, were charging into hard times. The United States economy is bifurcating faster than before, the top and bottom are separating in a yawning gap, climate change will continue to force populations from the global south, straining other countries’ systems for immigration, and there's a continued massive hoarding of wealth taken from workers that is separated from every day economies.

Basically, we're all going to have to make some extremely complicated and quick decisions before long and it's my concern that we currently disagree on terms, meanings, and thereby: implications. How can we build new systems and disrupt current systems if we speak different languages? We can't.

We need to speak the same language so that we can problem solve together. That's why I'm writing this book.
