BIO

Joshua Cade

Perpetual project machine, anti-capitalist political philosopher, strategist, and author. I’m organizing systems based resistance to the cycles of theft and hoarding of labor’s earnings and representation.

Currently working on outlining capital’s role in reducing representation of We the People, forming a startup to reform representation, encouraging people to run for office, and organizing citizen lobbying in Austin, TX.

Investigations into working class resource extraction

Mission Statement:

Working Class Trap is the connective tissue between wonky deep dives and horrors of the daily news. It's a podcast mapping systems that purposefully keep medical, housing, and education costs in crisis then sell them back to us at inflated costs. Each 20-30 minute episode of this bi-weekly podcast decodes one aspect of the trap set for us by owners so far decoupled from the working class they don't feel the ramifications of their actions. We the Working Class, however, take the brunt of the ramifications from their legislative loopholes, coverups, infinite money glitches, and wars. We can change that by educating, agitating, organizing, and disrupting.

You should listen to Working Class Trap if you want a more complete view of the world around us, if you want to speak more confidently to others on the effects of capitalism, or if you're a political masochist like me and want to stay informed, ready, and disruptive.
